I was there with my SIL, DIL & GD. My GD is SO interested in quilting! She's 19 and will be going to Chemekeda (sp?) community college in the fall, so I don't know how much quilting she will get done. I'm sorry we didn't see you there. We saw so many inspiring quilts and it was a wonderful day! Can't wait to see what your red & white quilt becomes!
You lucky girl. The weather looks glorious for a quilt show! I was there about 2 years ago...what a treat! You are progressing faster than I am with those R&W blocks. I have come to a standstill with only half made. Keep up the good work. You inspire me to get back to work.
I'm so jealous. I would love to go to that show but it's a pretty long drive from north central Texas. Heck, everything is a pretty long drive from anywhere in Texas.
Glad you had fun with your sisters.

a dream to come see this show, someday! glad the 3 of you are having fun and sewing like crazy too! oh the red and white is looking good now I will have to go find the quilt that inspired you! Kathie
I wish I was there. Another great event on the other side of the world. I wish I could travel by fax or something...thanks at least for all the photos.
What a striking image the side of the store is with all of those quilts. I have seen pictures of the Sister's show before, but never that view. Looks like a beautiful day.
Seeing the show on others blogs only reminds just what a great and varied show it was this year! I think inviting guilds in from Oregon added a whole new dimension and variety..what fun that show is!!!
Wish I'd run into you...heck, the way I bumped into people with my quilted bag...maybe I did and didn't realize it ;) Love your quilts and your blog, Lori!
