Those look like awfully long stripes you are sewing together. Tricky to keep them straight.
ReplyDeleteI cannot wait to see what you are seeing!
Wow! Straight as an arrow! Will you share your secret??
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend.
Looks like you're off to a great start. Hope the rest of them go quickly for you.
ReplyDeleteBonnie and Randy get a great big FAIL, don't they!
ReplyDeleteKeep at it, Lori, you'll get there. I know you have been in marathons before :)
Come on Lori- focus on the end result! Love your new banner and your stripes look straight as a die to me!
ReplyDeleteAh ... now you got me curious ... Excellent straight lines ... maybe some strip piecing? Oooh ... the suspense ...
ReplyDeleteI've been watching and waiting for attendees of the NY red/white quilt show to make red/white quilts. I haven't seen very many so far.
ReplyDeleteYours is looking very precise. You must be focusing more than you're letting on.
Those strips remind me of Hwy 197! long and straight!! Quilt show in 10 hours! Woohoo indeed!
ReplyDeleteTwo colour quilt sewing is so boring I know, But it will be worth it when it's finished. Can't wait to see it done !
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see what your doing with this one. Keep focused cause we want to see.
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to seeing what infinite treat these strips become.
ReplyDeleteKeep going, girl - we all want to see more!
ReplyDeleteKeep going, girl - we all want to see more!
ReplyDeleteThey may not be keeping you focused but I bet you are having a blast. Wish I were there. Hugs
ReplyDeleteThat's the drawback to a two color quilt (even more so when it is two fabric also), they are b-o-r-i-n-g to stitch. The end result is usually pretty magnificent but you must be super good dealing with delayed gratification. I am not. I have two red and white projects started after the show and abandoned already. I know you can do better than me!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see it!
ReplyDeleteLooking good. The important thing is to have fun. Enjoy!.
ReplyDeleteGreat start to this project! I'm going to make the R&W my next new start. I have to finish my pink/white one first, blocks made, now to piece the top! Hope you have a great day at the show. My friend is going, I called her yesterday and told her to pick me up on the way heheh. I threatened that next year I'm going to make the trek!
ReplyDeleteSewing with friends is the best time to do boring sewing. Chatting and laughing - time goes by fast. I look forward to seeing what you're making!!
ReplyDeleteHope you got lots done. So enjoyed the show and our short visits. I have so many ideas for quilts that I need to make now.
ReplyDeleteHow big is this quilt going to be?
ReplyDeleteHang in there. The result will be worth it.
