Hand Quilting

Good morning and happy Monday!
I've had my Beyond the Cherry Tree Quilt (find it HERE)out for a few weeks and am slowly
getting more hand quilting stitches in.

I think I have 7 blocks (out of 25 total) to quilt. I have quilted around the applique shapes (not the border yet) and quilted motifs that the original quilt had. Now, I'm doing my best to do cross hatching.
My lines have gotten off, but that will make this quilt a bit more humble like the rest of my quilts.

Here are my simple supplies.

Have a wonderful day friends!

  8. Gorgeous, Lori!! I am being shamed into finally doing more stitching on a quilt I've had in a hoop for months without touching it.

  9. Your quilt is absolutely beatiful! I wish that some day I will do regular and tiny stitches like yours! I use Gutterman or CCC threads.

  13. I know you have to be so looking forward to a finish on this quilt. You have kept plugging away at the quilting. Every little bit puts you one step closer to the end. I am cheering you on! I need to prep another block for this quilt pattern. I started one and it got set to the side before Christmas.

  16. Love to see that our BTCT quilts are still not forgotten. I wish I had had the patience to handquilt mine. Handquilting makes it even more "made with love".
