Scrapbuster
I'm all about trying to use up as many scraps as I can, but for some reason there is always just as many as I start with! This started with some leftover pink and brown 4 patches and grew from there.

I hear you about scraps...I think they multiply over night. Or get fluffed! Fun to see what we can achieve from scraps...no exception here.
ReplyDeleteMaybe scrap use is why square-in-a-square is also called 'economy patch', I really like the way you used yours, but then I love the fabrics you started with! You did a nice job.
ReplyDeleteI call it morphing scraps. I put all mine in a box and when I was done I had more than I started with. Love your scrap quilt.
ReplyDeleteI totally agree about the never ending scrap basket. I am giving up and donating some of the small pieces to Goodwill. But don't worry, I still will have scraps left.
ReplyDeleteEvery so often I give away a bag od scraps otherwise I'd run out of places to store them. You have so many lovely quilts and this one is another beauty. I do love the scrap quilt.
ReplyDeleteLori, wow, what great scraps you have. I am working on getting my scraps under control by making 6 inch star blocks. My hope is that it will look as great as your scrap quilts. Thanks for sharing, it is making me rethink scrap quilting.
