Sister's Quilt Show

What a wonderful day in Sisters! Although the first time in 35 years the quilts had to come down because of pouring rain. Thankfully it was later in the day so most people (including me) got to see most of the quilts.
Here is my Jane Stickle quilt!

  10. It rained?! I thought that wasn't allowed to happen.

I dragged my mom across the road to get a look at your Dear Jane-- then was so dazzled I forgot to take a picture of it! It's absolutely gorgeous in person.

  14. What a great photo! Rain? It never rains on the second Sat in July in Sisters, what was that all about? Must have been the thunder storms that rolled by us on Friday evening. Can't wait to see lots of pics from everyone.

  15. I missed seeing this one close up. My Sister and I enjoyed the show. We left with the big raindrops falling on us as we walked to the car. Glad you got to see Bonnie too. I didn't :(

  33. I saw it too! And it was more than amazing! I listened to people for awhile..that was fun! How did one person do all this in one lifetime? I heard that from a man and his wife said, "I wish I knew"! It was pretty adorable! The rain was crazy wasn't it? They had those quilts down in 30 seconds I swear!

  35. Fantastic Dear Jane Lori! It was so nice to meet you at the show. I did so much schmoozing that we missed a lot of the quilts. We did get to all the special exhibits we wanted to see before it really poured. We were in the Teachers tent when the worst of it went over. Nice blog!
