One of my favorite quilts!! I think it is one of my favorites because it took so long to make.
I love this one too.
The kitty got a change of pants and his jack 'o lantern. Designed by JoAnn Mullaly and published in Primitive Quilts & Projects magazine.
Love my goofy Gourdy's Gang!!
We are having a lovely end of summer here. Yesterday we woke up to 37 degrees and the high was 91 degrees. It's a little confusing but my favorite time of the year.
Have a wonderful weekend!
Love all of your fall quilts and decorations. They all look so pretty.
ReplyDeleteI love your fall decorating. That first quilt is spectacular!! Our temperatures are much like yours. Makes it hard to know what to wear in the mornings :0)
ReplyDeleteI love this post..so comfy.
ReplyDeleteLove the first one because it's Cindy Blackberg's pattern Always loved her work and spent a very happy day with her at her home when she lived in Florida going through her quilts. That one being one of them.
ReplyDeleteThe weather dosen't know what it is doing here either. Very very hot.
I must get out my Autumn pieces - it's just that summer has only just arrived in the UK this week - it took long enough! But seeing all your lovely treasures has made me decide to redress the house, whatever the weather! Have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteYou have some lovely Autumn quilts! Your favorite quilt is one of my favorites too--very nice, and such great colors! And your Gourdy's Gang made me smile--such a happy group! :)
ReplyDeleteWhere did you get that beautiful chest?
ReplyDeleteYou really have a lot of seasonal quilts. Lovely!!!
I think I need to make a pumpkin quilt, or at least one with orange and black! Your autumn quilts look very good for the season.
ReplyDeleteWhat a delightful and festive display for fall!
ReplyDeleteTHANK YOU, Lori!
Carolyn :)
Love that first quilt too! and the funny gords one...what pattern is that? I think that after I do some grocery shopping I may do some stitching and may bring out some fall decorations as well..just did just over 5 miles this morning...wanted to do 7 but was a bit sore at 5..so ended.
ReplyDeletehope you are feeling better.
just come on over and decorate my house anytime! BeaUTiFuL!!!!
ReplyDeleteWonderful autumn quilts! Your weather sounds a lot like ours here in the Yamhill Valley of Oregon. Love this season!
ReplyDeleteLove all of the Autumn decor--my favorite season of the year. You have done it up right!!
ReplyDeleteWe haven't dipped into the 30s yet, but the 40s are here--with daytime in the 80s. So pleasant.
It was fun to see how you decorate. I love that blue and cheddar quilt. I need to keep that color scheme in mind for future reference. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI love the Railroad Crossing quilt (I think that's the name) designed by Cindy Blackberg. I have saved the copy of magazine so that I can some day do this one! Did you hand piece or machine quilt? I have the Goofy Gourdy Gang pattern somewhere....time to bring it out and see if I can complete in time to use this year....why do I wait until the last minute to think of Fall and Halloween quilts and I love this time of the year!!!

All of the autumn posts are making me quite envious of the cooler weather everyone is soon to be experiencing (if they're not already). Here in Florida, autumn arrives very late and is fleeting.
ReplyDeleteYour red and white quilt came out wonderfully!
I think I need to change my decor! I can't believe it's here already....though I'm super happy about it!
ReplyDeleteThe new decorations tell me that the seasons have changed at your house. They all look wonderful. I best get busy at my own house.
ReplyDeleteI love your new season decorating, especially the Lynda Hall quilt. I have that pattern but have never got around to making it. Enjoy the sunshine, can't wait for it to start warming up here.
ReplyDeleteYour fall decorations look wonderful! I was just thinking the other day that I need to make the transition too.
ReplyDeleteI love the blue and cheddar quilt. I have looked for the pattern everywhere. Do you know where I could find the pattern?

What fun quilts. I rarely change my quilts out but now you have me thinking about it!
ReplyDeleteLove your holiday decorations and beautiful quilts.

Your house looks fabulous!! I think this is the best time of year for weather for Central Oregon. I do love the early mornings. And that blue/gold quilt is one of my favorites of yours!
ReplyDeleteI enjoy each and every one of your creations.
ReplyDeleteI always love red, white and blue, but what fun to bring out a whole new raft of quilts! They are great!
ReplyDeleteI love the "Fall" quilts. Expecially the basket one. Makes me want to make one, I love all the rich colors.
ReplyDeleteI love seeing your decorating, the first quilt is a real stunner, no wonder it's a favourite.
ReplyDeleteLove that basket quilt with the sunflower border, I think I need one of those too, I will get right on that.....
ReplyDeleteYour fall collection is really fantastic. The blue and cheddar is definitely my favorite, but really, they're all perfect for a seasonal change.
ReplyDeleteThose are a couple of my favorite quilts of yours, too. I'll bet your house looks great! Autumn is welcome in many areas, including here in the Midwest.
ReplyDeleteEvery quilt is so great! I made the gordy gang too. I haven't hung any quilts since the painting earlier this year. Must get the new rods up soon and hang some fall.
ReplyDeleteHope you are better. I got some virus now.:(
It is weird that you are in Oregon and I am in South Dakota and we had exactly the same weather today. Low of 36 and High of 94. We are just praying for rain.
ReplyDeleteOh YES!!! I LOVE autumn!! This morning the wind was lightly blowing through the trees and it had a definite FALL sound to it!!! I am really feeling fall inspired after looking at your post!!! Good stuff girlfriend!
ReplyDeletegreat fall quilts and decor!
