This is all I can show you for now. I never feel confident with challenges and never really know what it will look like until the end.
Here's Sven!! Helping me celebrate my birthday in September.
We're at an outdoor concert. Thank goodness nothing as vigorous as climbing a mountain!!
Huey Lewis and the News was so much fun!!!
That looks like a fun project, Lori. Can't wait to see your results.
ReplyDeleteHuey Lewis and the News are still performing? Bet that a fun concert. :-) I'm sure Sven was rocking! LOL
My husband bought an electric guitar yesterday, you could have come here and rocked out!! If my woolie projects get a little crazy now you will know why. Have a fun day up there!!
ReplyDeleteI've never made a challenge quilt. That would be...er, challenging.
ReplyDeleteDid Sven get out of control at the concert? That could be really embarrassing. : )
Omg. My fabric is still in the bag. Thoughts about what I should do keep floating about in my head and that is where they seem to be firmly staying.
ReplyDeleteTime to dig out the fabric and dig something out of my brain.
Looks fun!!! Liking the fabric alot!! Sven has been a busy fellow!!
ReplyDeleteSo good Sven is holding up this year.
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to seeing your finished challenge project. Looks like you are way ahead of Sue ;-)
Huey Lewis and the News is still together!?! I loved them when I was in high school and I'm sure I can sing all their songs still :0) That challenge fabrics looks... well... challenging! I look forward to seeing what you make with it :0)

Great colors! Don't sell yourself short. It'll be perfect when you finish it.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with that! I've got a guild challenge that is so complicated, I'm not sure I can make something work. But they do stretch the mind!

I cant't wait to see your progress on your challenge quilt. I hope you had a good time with Sven. He looks like a fun guy. I just love Huey Lewis and the News. Hugs
ReplyDeletedoh! i should be working on this too :)
ReplyDeleteWishing you a happy birthday Lori. Hope it's followed by a splendid year :) I very much like the challenge fabrics. I don't know what they're calling that greyish beigey purple these days. It used to be a "dusty" color but today I think it's called grurple or burple.
ReplyDeleteGail :)
I am not very good at challenges. I just can't seem to come up with the clever ideas so many do. Good luck.
ReplyDeleteHi Lori!! I love these photos. Thanks for your blog, I enjoyed it. A lot!
