I thought I'd do the latest blocks and get them out of the way. I really do not want to fall behind on this quilt. I machine appliqued so this batch was pretty easy.
As always your blocks look great! Are all of these blocks based on quilts from the New York show? I don't think I've seen anything like the crossed keys block before.
You've done a good job on them. I'm curious how many more blocks there are on this quilt. Does the project go to the end of the year--or beyond (just a little Buzz Lightyear feel for a second there)?
I'm planning on doing the prep Friday night and sew them Sat at our monthly JT2 meeting. My applique is fused/machine too. I forgot how much I liked that method when I did a few of these blocks. Nice fabric choices, the key block is great!
Your just take two blocks are lovely, I am falling behind but will finish when I can. Oh this red square block looks like real fun........must fight urge to start something new!

The keys is an unusual design. I like!
ReplyDeleteMore beautiful blocks! Is the machine applique fused? Still looks like a lot of work to get all those little areas cut out and appliqued!
ReplyDeleteThis is going to be a giant quilt. Love the keys and the bottom block, almost looks celtic. Great job as always.
