Here's my braided quilt, quilted and bound. I'm loving it!!
Here's a sneak peak at my Jubilee quilt!! It's lovely and my friend Kat did a remarkable job of quilting it!! Feel free to check out her quilting link.I got photos! That's kind of like I've got mail! Marei was a real creative machine when it came to making Mountains Trails quilts. Look at these fantastic quilts she made and donated to her quilt guild!! Thank you Marei for sending me your photos.
Have a fantastic weekend!!
Love that pink. I have been so drawn to pink fabric lately.

ReplyDeleteLove your blocks. And the pink is just so perfect. Your little braid is adorable.
ReplyDeleteFun...did you find a good red? Need to ensure you have time to stop in at Pioneer Quilts on your way home on Sunday. You will love it. Hubby can enjoy it too or go to McMenamins, just down the complex while you browse (shop)
ReplyDeleteThe quilting on your Jubliee quilt is great, enjoy your new project, looks like fun to me!
ReplyDeleteYour Sally Post is looking good and I can’t wait to see all of your Jubilee quilt.
ReplyDeleteNow I admit, I am not much of a pink gal, but I love these blocks set with the pink. It makes the blocks sing!
ReplyDeleteI am in love with the little braid. Okay, that has to be one of the ones I make for the Simple Charming SAL! I'v had issues with attempting the braid (much like you've had issues with tumblers), but I WILL succeed at this, right?
Wow, talk about multiple trails! I love to see the results when someone takes a pattern and runs with it in their own direction.
Mountain Trails looks great in Marei's blue and brown colorway. Thanks for sharing the photos!
ReplyDeleteIt's so interesting to see how other quilters interpret a pattern. Some follow exactly and try to use the same fabrics as the original, and others, like Marei think way outside the box. What a fabulous job she did. And your Sally Post blocks are looking pretty fabulous as well.
ReplyDeleteI like the pink you have for the Sally sashing. One of these days, I will find something suitable for sashing for my blocks.
ReplyDeleteThe sneak peek of the quilting on the Jubilee quilt looks good. I am anxious to see the whole quilt. By the way, I have seen your "Sven" on television ads.
Inspiring, as always!
ReplyDeleteYour blocks look great. Congrats on keeping to your schedule! Love your little braided quilt, so adorable in those colors and I can't wait to see the entire Jubilee quilt too!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Lori, for having the Mtn. Trails QAL. I love the pattern and plan to make more of them...in different colorways.
ReplyDeleteThat little bit of the Jubilee quilt looks just fabulous!!! It really pays to have a capable long arm quilter do this type of work, makes all the difference, and the result is spectacular!!!!
ReplyDeleteLove the little braided quilt too, very very cute!!!
Great job on the Sally Post blocks. I especially like the last one in the tipped picture. That pink flower seems to be dancing. Love it.
