Giveaways!!

Giveaway Closed!!
Here's my Quilt Market giveaway. I'm afraid you'll have to cock your head because no matter what I did I couldn't get it to load upright. It's completely fun and random things. Love Andover's tote bag especially.
I'm doing a bit of sewing room purging and if you'd like a pile of random patterns please tell me when you leave a comment.
I know there are lots of Grandma's out there sewing. Be forewarned, these are not beginner patterns!! I made doll clothes before I made quilts. (and Halloween costumes!)You won't get these unless you specify you want them.
Here's one pattern by Lynda but I will be adding a few more patterns and probably a book or two to this group.

Leave a comment and I'll draw names on Friday!!

Giveaway Closed!!

Thanks for all the great ideas on the "perfect" quilt! I've compiled a list and will share it later this week. You blog readers are the best!!

  56. Wow, you must be clearing out things also! I'd love any of the primitive patterns, and I'd be OK with the doll clothes too. With three granddaughters, I'm hoping at least one of them will like dolls enough to want an American Girl doll.

  58. What a lovely giveaway - especially the Market goodies. But I won't ask for that as I live in the UK and postage is dreadful price these days.

I think a random pattern would be nice - I tend to buy books rather than individual patterns and then can't remember which quilt I wanted to make. Plus it would be good to make something I hadn't chosen and therefore possibly out of my comfort zone.

    ReplyDelete
  59. Fabulous giveaway!
I'd love anything except Halloween patterns!

    ReplyDelete
  91. I sew a lot of AG clothing for granddaughters and would LOVE to have them. I started with sewing clothing for myself and my dolls when I was 5 years old (just a FEW years ago) so I think I can handle a difficult pattern ;-)

Now, I need to sort through what survived and put them away for the next little girl. Mine grew up as children tend to do (paraphrasing my favorite nanny, Mrs. Doubtfire).

  134. I am just starting to teach myself to quilt. Have sewn for over 56 yrs, but the quilting part is new! Have a great-granddaughter 19 mths., and her quilt will be one of the first. Plan on making covers for my small kitchen appliances as cabinet space is limited. Just have sooo many ideas I am having a hard time deciding where to start! Am watching every quilt or sew show on tv, plus surfing through very quilt site - this is how I found yours. Giveaways? Always - anything which will teach me! Love the Dresden, nine patch, baskets, almost all of the traditional designs. Not very interested in the artsy quilts, maybe some day. Have a lot of learning to do before tryintg artsy styles! I signed in using google. However my fb account is Shelley Kelley in Boonville, IN. Thanks for posting your photos!
