Antique Quilts Part 2

The antique are my favorites so I'm going to show another post of them.

I'd like to try and make this block. This one now resides in CA.

Dumb photo with the shadow, but I thought the border was hilarious! Is it supposed to be a swag?

Gotta love the cheddar.
This pomegranate quilt was in a store and was amazing! Love the crocheted border and look at that quilting!

You all left so many kind comments this week. I have my little used IPad (which I am not familiar with) and my phone and that is how I posted and read blogs and email this week. I didn't get to respond to very many, but wanted to let you know how much I appreciate every single comment!

Love to you all!

Did Randy buy the one that now resides in CA?
I love them all, but the basket quilt and nine-patch really grab me! I wish I could grab them!!

  6. Love seeing the wonderful antique quilts from the show. That pomegranate quilt is amazing -- I want to do some echo quilting, design my own border, and I can't wait to try adding a crocheted edge to a quilt. Thanks for the inspiration -- looking forward to seeing more quilts from Sisters.

  8. Oh the hand quilting is so beautiful, what great old quilts.
What were they selling for? I hope mine end up for sale somewhere
instead of used for dog beds or used as moving pads!

    Enjoy!

  24. I wish I coud see the entire 'swag' quilt, it looks like a folksy swag but if you look at it from another direction, it looks like double basket handles. Either way, my favorite for the uniqueness of it. n
