Wednesday Retreat Part 2

Look what I machine quilted yesterday!
It's not the best job due to my retreat setup, but it's done except the binding, which I will do in red once I'm home.

How are you all doing on your medallion? Do I need to set up a linky next week so we can see them all?

I'm making good progress on the next project.........

  1. I think it looks great, Lori! I think it is hard to focus on machine quilting with lots of fun distractions around. I'm amazed you were able to do this at retreat. : )

  4. Yours looks great! I am back to working on mine, we were gone for two weeks on a quick trip to visit my family in IL. I have two of the vines appliqued on the border and will get back to that soon. We have another two week visit to my DH kids and grands in Washington and Oregon coming up. I hope I can at least finish the applique before we leave in another couple of weeks! It is great to see your quilting, I need ideas for when I am finished with the top. Looks like you are having a wonderful time!

  13. Oh, Lori - this turned out so great! Now, why didn't I play along? Lol? You remember that I finished Pink Lemonade a year after everyone else! I'm jealous of your machine quilting skills - that's just something I can not do. Guess you held your mouth just right!

  20. Yea! It looks great Lori! Love the echo around all of the applique. I have my applique parts ready to be sewn this weekend. Yipee! Borders done next week for a Linky is possible but I don't think quilted! I absolutely love your fabrics and colors. Red will be perfect for the binding. Congrats on a quilted finish!

  21. Your echo quilting looks perfect on this quilt. Bravo for your ability to focus and machine quilt in the middle of friends, noise, chocolate, other snacks, stories, and distractions galore. (just a guess)
    Well done !
