Here's a couple things I've been working on the past few days.
I've got this all prepped for sewing. It is a pattern designed by Lynda and was in Primitive Quilts & projects. This is on my coffee table now and think the snowmen will make a good winter replacement.
I got my November block made for the Flowers quilt. Can you tell I chose an easy one?
When I get through a few other projects I'll start making the half square triangles that go with the blocks.
I'm hand sewing down binding!! It's a project I started in 2010! Whoop! Whoop!! Cant wait to share the finished quilt with you.
If you haven't seen all 19 little Faithful quilts you are missing out. Each and every one is unique and so cute! Please go take a look. Thank you all for your encouraging words and for sewing along! I love doing these little quiltalongs because of YOU all!!
I've got a priority envelope of fabric and scraps ready to be mailed to.......
drum roll.....................

Congratulations Judy. Please send me your mailing address and I'll get the package to the post.

Happy Sewing

Those snowmen are CUTE!
ReplyDeletedoesn't it feel good to get some projects on the downhill side to completion! I made the snowman runner and added my little grandson with his glasses on....I love that runner!
ReplyDeleteThe snowmen are so cute - I like the cross eyed one :0) There's enough snow lying around here to make a snowman but it's too cold to make it stick.
ReplyDeletetodos los trabajos me gustan
ReplyDelete¡¡¡muñecos de nieve me chiflan!!!
saludos
Oh yes…I love wool thingies but haven't worked with any myself! These are pretty nifty projects!
ReplyDeleteAh, I LOVE the snowman runner! What a cute project. I would be smiling the whole time I was stitching. : )
ReplyDeleteIt is so fun to see the variety of Faithful quilts. With each center block being unique, and the collection of scraps each quilter used, sometimes you wouldn't know they were making the same quilt. I did finally come up with a center block, but that is as far as it got. I am hoping to actually make the quilt---eventually.
Love your snowman runner! What's not to like about wool! :D
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see your 2010 finish.
It was so much fun to see all the Faithful quilts - and it was fun to participate! Thanks so much for the win. It is nice to anticipate a little something coming to me in the mail.
ReplyDeleteThe pineapple block is fabulous! Love all those half square triangles in different sizes. Super cute snowmen too! Will be fun to look at in the winter.:)
ReplyDeleteI need to get motivated...now with having my work hours cut back, I will have some extra time on my hands???
ReplyDeleteI just love your pretty woolie projects! The best thing to me is having a block all ready to stitch!!
ReplyDeleteYour snowmen are so cute. I remember thinking they were cute when I saw the magazine.
ReplyDeleteYour pineapple looks good. I did not know (or forgot) that those blockswill have HSTaround them. I can hardly wait to see what they all look like.
Hi Lori,

How cute! Love snowmen. You literally have your work "cut out" for you. Have fun!
ReplyDeleteDarling projects and the binding means a finish...Yeah. Congrats to Judy. Loved seeing all the little quilts.
ReplyDeleteOh so sweet! Keep up the nice work. And binding!
ReplyDeletewonderful work, I love the snowmen!
ReplyDeleteI made one of those Lynda Hall little snowman runners right after the pattern appeared in the prim magazine. I keep it on the mantle but it really doesn't show well there because you would have to walk over to that section of the room to see it. I need to find a new place to use it.
ReplyDeleteI haven't done a thing with the flowers blocks. You stir my interest each time I see one of your wool flower blocks.
your wooly projects are wonderful! I love the snowmen - so cute!!
