I worked on a small hand project while family was here for the holidays. It's pretty hard to work on a large quilt that takes one seat! (I brought it back out today)
I had a busy full Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Dinner for 16!! Crazy but fun!
Have an awesome weekend!
Your wool flower blocks are coming along nicely. Can't believe you managed to get some stitching in with all that holiday hustle & bustle-your are amazing! Sounds like you had a wonderful Christmas! (hugs from PA)
ReplyDeleteI brought that one to prep while in bend. Have t so to finish up
ReplyDeleteI really like these! What are your backgrounds? Flannel, Cotton, or Wool?
DeleteBrushed cotton.
DeleteYour blocks are so pretty! I know...those big projects are hard to handle with a big crowd at the house...glad you had a good time!!
ReplyDeletewool is so nice to work with and uses so much less space!

ReplyDeleteLove those blocks, Lori. Smart of you to have them prepped and ready to go whenever you could grab them.
ReplyDeleteI just put sewing away for the few days of family festivities. With gatherings of one sort or another every day from Sunday to Thursday, there just wasn't even time to sit and hand stitch. But last night I was finally able to take deep breaths and play with my featherweight. So fun!
preciosos bloques!!!!
ReplyDeletefeliz año nuevo
saludos
