I decided on homespuns for my half square triangle sashing. The colors in the photo aren't very good but my dark colors are red and blue and I snuck a few greens in too.
I'm happy with my choice and it seems to go really well with my homespun applique backgrounds.
So, what do you think?
I really love your blocks and can't wait to see the finished project.
ReplyDeletelove the plaid fabric and the colors. this will be beautiful..
ReplyDeleteVery nice. I love plaids. Hugs
ReplyDeletePerfect!!! Great solution..I like the contrast of the bright triangles with the open blocks, it is just great, Lori!
ReplyDeleteHow can you go wrong with hst's :0)

ReplyDeleteI think it is just right. The combination of colors--in homespun (nice prim touch)--seems to have brought it all to life. The blocks were great before and now they are marvelous! : )

ReplyDeleteGreat choice with the homespuns.
ReplyDeleteYes! I agree with perfect! It's going to be a darling quilt.
ReplyDeleteHi Lori, Looks fantastic with the homespuns, really suits the quilt blocks.
ReplyDeleteI like that you grouped several of the same color HSTs together so your eye sort of travels around and to the block and doesn't jump around. I don't think you can ever go wrong with half square triangles, and I love your blocks.
ReplyDeletePerfect choice Lori, i love hst's too, they complement your delightful applique blocks. I love the look of naive prim :))) cheers... Marian
ReplyDeleteThis is jus a beautiful quilt coming together.
