Wool Applique "Flowers"

I got my flowers quilt back from the quilters and finally got a chance to look at it up close and personal.

Thanks Kat for doing such a beautiful job of quilting! It's suits the quilt perfectly.

I brought it downstairs and trimmed it up. Next to make binding and apply it. (not my favorite part)

I'll get a full on shot soon!

Thank you for your kind words about the quilts I display during the holidays.

Tomorrow I'm having a Saturday blog post featuring Sujata's new book , "Cultural Fusion"! Please check it out and enter to win yourself a copy.

  11. Wow - the quilting makes each of the motifs POP, huh? Binding is one of my favorite parts of making a quilt, so if you send it to me I'll get it put on there - but maybe I'll forget to send it back to you? LOL

  14. I like seeing how to quilt when there is wool applique involved. I don't seem to get such tops quilted because I don't know what to do. These close-ups help give me ideas.
