Old Tom....

Now that I am showing these again as I assemble them you can see the embroidery I've added.

I opted to add a frame around the peony rather than an extra strip between the blocks.

Looks a little goofy.....

But it worked....... (for now!)

And here is what you missed on Instagram these lat 2 weeks.

Thanks again for the positive response to the Facebook group! As of Tuesday evening we have 246 wonderful quilters! You can check it out HERE.

I'm hosting a Linky party next Monday so we can see all the little quilts in one place. You will be sharing the quilt you received! More about that on Monday.
As far as I know we have one little quilt lost from New Zealand to Washington state. I hope everybody else at least knows your quilt is on the way.

I have a fun project to share on Friday!

  3. That is going to be a beautiful quilt. I need to decide what I am going to make, putting away the UFO's for now and working on new things so I can just make them and finish them, lots of christmas ones I want to do so maybe i can get a head start this year.

  15. I am really loving your quilt. That Old Tom block is one of my favourites (I am partial to ginger toms) but that star with the feather is also a bobby dazzler!

  18. Your blocks are very inspiring! I started this quilt several years ago and this past week I dug it out to see how much I had done.....lots of work left to do, but I still liked my quilt blocks so I may work on it from time to time!

  19. Your Ohio blocks are looking good next to each other. I like the print fabric around the peony block. A good idea to frame it that way. The quirky blocks we added to the mix have been very popular. I was reading the comments some of the readers have left.
