Dresses for Bolivia

I know many of you have seen some of these photos on Facebook, but I wanted to show them all here. Maybe you will even be able to pick out the one you made!!

The crowds were huge and I wasn't going to hand out dresses if all the girls weren't going to be able to get one.
The first place we gave them out was a small day care. If these kids weren't here, they would be on the streets with their parents peddling a variety of goods. There are 2 of these centers and the vision is to have 10 all over the city.

This little place was in a much poorer area then we had been in. They are so precious!

This is Gaby who started the garbage dump ministry(Faith Seeds)  in Guatemala. She was hired as one of our interpreters for the week.
 Our whole team pitched in!

Later in the week we drove quite a ways to a village .

One last stop was supposed to be an orphanage but instead we found about 20 girls from ages 14-19 studying. We were able to do our drama and give them the message of the hope of Jesus Christ. Then a handful of children arrived.

We drove out to the water well dedication and this little girl was right by our van when we parked.
 This was where she lived.
Maggie was our local guide for the week. She has a really big heart for the kids of Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia. I gave her the bag I had been toting the dresses around in all week.
I had quite a few dresses left so I gave them to the pastors wife at the church we attended on Sunday to hand out to the needy.

And Gaby said she had room in her suitcase to bring these home to her "Kids" in Guatemala. She promised to send photos, although she may save them for Christmas gifts.

Here's the bed in my hotel room that I had them all laid out on.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you all so much!!
