Now it is fully complete! I opted for a muslin binding
I used a few different background pieces as I think it ages the quilt nicely. I still can't get enough of Sharon's beautiful quilting.
Mostly I'm plugging away for an hour or so in the evening handquilting.
I haven't had time this week to do any more than sew on the binding. Looking forward to the weekend!!

Sharon's quilting is perfect for your beautiful Delectable Mountains quilt. It's gorgeous! I love, love, love your applique quilt,too. The hand quilting is beautiful. Both quilts have a delightful Vintage look.

ReplyDeleteYep, Sharon's quilting is just as spectacular as the quilt itself. I love that you used different shades of muslin for the background - it DEFINITELY ages the entire quilt!
