My house is being pushed over by the bird and my moon has turned into smoke rising from my chimney..... It's been one of those weeks.
My mum has been sick, my brother (from China in Seattle for summer) is here to see her. We are enjoying his visit.
See you Friday!
Thank goodness we have our stitcheries to help keep our sanity!
ReplyDeleteHolding you are your mom in my heart Lori.
ReplyDeleteHard to be old and have so many things go wrong with us. Hope your mother improves soon.
ReplyDeleteI saved Cheri's house pattern but have not had time to dig in my wool. I would not like to see a bird as big as that landing on the roof of my house. Squish instead of pushing it over I would think. Or have that bird flying over my head and some doo doo fall on me.
Take care of yourself. Glad to hear your brother is in town to visit with mom, and can be a support for you.
ReplyDeleteSome weeks are like that and I hope yours improves greatly. Best wishes for your Mom. And, I think the block is wonderful. Folk art at its best!
ReplyDeleteIsn't this what "prim" is all about? : )
ReplyDeleteHope you find balance again soon, and that your Mom can be comfortable.
I wouldn't change a thing. Sometimes our quilting reflects what is going on in our lives at the time. It's a textile diary of your week. I love it!
ReplyDeleteYour daughter looks like she is a real sweetie! Hugs to your Mom. Love primitive applique....enjoy your visits with your brother.

It seems that the heart is what is doing the final push. Perhaps that is a good thing. Enjoy your brother's visit and I'm hoping your mom gets well soon.
