Two Thimbles Quilt Shop

On Saturday one of our first stops was Two Thimbles Quilt Shop in Bellingham.
I've really enjoyed getting to know Lee the past couple of years and I love her shop!

That stripe really caught my eye. I brought some home!

The blue urn caught my eye as well!! And check out that stripe!!
Lee was teaching me the ropes.

This is her AMAZING quilt top!

She rearranged the shop and brought the classroom out front. It has a lot of light and is a nice creative space.
 Laurie contemplating fabric.
So happy to find a shop that still carries reproductions. Lots of them!!

This was lunch after the Textile Museum. Good food, Great company! Left to Right- Merry, Vicki, Laura, Laurie and me in LaConner.

I had such a wonderful weekend! I'll be sharing more later this week.

Let's have a really great week!

  7. I like how the bolts of fabric are displayed to showcase how the stripes, etc. would look together. Good marketing technique.

  13. I love those fabric displays, which really get your imagination giong as to possibilities. I hope to go there myself when I visit the Northwest this fall. And the Quilt Museum, of course!

  15. Glad you were able to get to Two Thimbles. One of my favorite shops too! Each of the gals is always so friendly and helpful. Next time you are up this way, you must visit Lynden too. It's only 15 more minutes from Bellingham. We have three more quilt shops in Lynden.

  17. I would love that shop, but unfortunately, I'm on the opposite end of the country. We do have the Busy Thimble quilt shop. The shop also specializes in reproduction fabrics. I love it!

  18. Looks like a lovely shop - clever way to display featured bolts on the end of the shelving - especially when there are stripes and border potential!! Or fussy cutting...or...well...you just have to have some! We have lost our one shop devoted to reproduction fabrics...so sad.
