I am glad this wasn't an ominous sign of what I was to find upon entering the quilt shop!
A lot of people do not like this shop because it is messy. Hah! Digging is half the fun! Here I am in the sale room.
Yep! Just as I remember it.
No place anywhere near me has reproductions like this.
Old ones, and new ones.
This was a favorite I picked up.
This purple one was another favorite!
I've got this years quiltalong picked out and I'm hoping to have starter kits for those who may want them! Of course, I still need to get it drawn out on Electric Quilt and made! I've got plenty of time since that usually happens in the fall but I am looking forward to it!
Let's make it a wonderful week!
Oh, my gosh! What is the name of this store? Do you know if they ship? Wow!

ReplyDeleteWhat a grand shopping experience! The cheddar fabric on the right in the 4th picture -- I'm using that one in my Uptown BOM! Gorgeous reproductions. I could use a trip like that. Nope! That definitely was not a bad omen, it was a dream
ReplyDeleteI know a quilt shop in Washington like this—I love the digging too, especially when you find the treasures! You found some beauties!! Roxanne
ReplyDeleteLori que gran espectáculo!! en España no tenemos nada de este tamaño ¡¡Impresionante!!
ReplyDeletefor fabrics not available anymore in "regular" shops, try Fieldstone House between Oneonta and Sidney NY, thousands of fabrics, narrow space to walk thru, but Jane knows where everything is.
ReplyDeleteWow! It would be hard to choose especially some of those older prints. A nice find.
ReplyDeleteOh, WOW!!! Thanks for sharing and causing drooling. Don't suppose they do on line sales?
ReplyDeleteNo she doesn’t.
DeleteYears ago we visited a quilt shop similar to this somewhere along the coast not too far from Lincoln City I think. It was a jumble of fabrics with aisles barely wide enough to negotiate. You found a treasure trove here!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great selection! A secret horde of fabulous fabrics. That purple stripe is awesome, love your other choices too.
ReplyDeleteA kit for your sewalong sound intriguing, ep since you have the best eye for fabrics.
I love the crow glowering down from that primitive roof gable, great photo.
Where is this magical place?
ReplyDeleteOMG this is only 20 mins from my daughter's place! It's on my list now for next time we are there!
ReplyDeleteI want to thank you for sharing this find. I definitely plan on hitting them up. Oh, so much eye candy.

ReplyDeleteYou found the gold pot at the end of the rainbow!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite kind of store!! So, when do you plan to call for doll quilt sign-ups? Inquiring minds and all that.....😊
ReplyDeleteNo set date, but next month for sure.
DeleteWhat a fun place for a treasure hunt! Love the fabrics you chose. To me it is delightful to find a place that still has the older fabrics on hand.
ReplyDeleteI know where you're at : )
ReplyDeleteDid they have more the one person cutting?
What city is Country Manor located? I am looking for reproduction fabric and you show some wonderful ones here!
