I had the best time presenting Reruns: Quilts Inspired by the Past to the High Desert Quilt Guild
Look! Country Roads Humble Quilts quiltalong! Nancy brought her quilt to share! It was really sweet to see 2 quiltalongs locally!
You can find the finale of Country Roads HERE
Here is Annette's (correct me if I'm wrong on that too) 50 Shades of Brown quiltalong!
I love that they brought their little quilts to share with me.
Here is the linky for that quilt too - HERE.
Here was a sweet show and tell. The woman said her mom or grandmother made this all by hand.
I had no idea I had such a fun and active quilt guild so close to me! 105 quilters showed up to the meeting today! Please forgive me for not remembering all the details as I talked to many people.
Here is a glimpse of my Uptown quilt.
Here is my Abe Lincoln quilt designed by Barbara Brackman.
I talked to a woman about the homespuns I had at home for sale. I put your number on the "note" section of my phone and it is not there now. If anyone has suggestions I'm open. All my notes are now from 2017 and older. Where did my notes go?.... frustrating
I hope you see this! Please send me an email at humblequilts@gmail.com
This was eye catching, super sweet and perfect for election season.
This was one of my favorite non antique quilts at the show. 2 people actually worked on this quilt but he was the only around while I was there.
It is hard to really know what it going on with the quilt overall, but it feels so real and moving to me.
Always an appropriate sentiment!
I picked this book up before the show at the TX Quilt Museum. I haven't had a chance to read it yet.
But them I saw this....
At the show.
Be sure to label your quilts!
Also we do know that anonymous quilters could be men too!
Everyone have a terrific weekend.
Monday I'll put up the linky for the Homestead quilts to be shared! You do not have to have it quilted to share it! I'm looking forward to seeing them all in one place.
