I landed in Huntsville, Alabama on Wednesday. Quietest airport I recall ever going to! Huntsville is called Rocket City. It was my first ever trip to Alabama and I had a really wonderful time!
My friend, Sue, who I worked with at the Houston quilt show, was my host.
We made our way to a few quilt shops.
This was a huge shop and because of a church conflict I ended up teaching at this quilt shop. It had lots of everything, including reproductions, so it was my favorite!!
This was a Lowe Mill, a cotton mill back in its day- now full of adorable little shops.
It was a really good turn out for the trunk show!
Thank you Madison Station Quilt Guild!

Looks like a really fun trip, Lori! Is that your "Lincoln Quilt" in the last photo? I love that quilt.
