Tree of Life

If you remember I was going to make 2 Tree of Life quilt blocks a month, well, I'm missed a couple of months but finally finished the final 3 blocks!
Whoop! Whoop!

Here is the layout- these are 16" blocks so the lumpy grass was the best I could find. I am excited to get this top put together!!

The final layout according to EQ will measure about 72" square.

This was taken of Mt Hood on my final long hike before the summit of Mount St Helens! We are hiking that on Friday!!

My daughter's partner (2nd on the left, Anish Savjani) was in Los Angeles recently and they won an Emmy for Rebel Ridge! They filmed it during covid so they had a lot of hurdles! It was released on Netflix. I'm proud of his accomplishment!!

Rebel Ridge took home the award for best TV movie at the 2025 Creative Arts Emmy Awards.

Next up, working on the 2025 quiltalong! I likely will not get this released until late October since we are going to Portugal in a few weeks.

I hope you are having a good week.
Love One Another....

  1. Exciting week! I love your tree of life blocks, will you use another color/shade for the setting triangles? Enjoy summiting Mt St Helens, it's been many years since we visited there. Congrats to your daughters partner for the Emmy award.

  5. Congratulations to Anish and Rebel Ridge! Your Tree of Life blocks look amazing. What will you use for the set-in triangles, I wonder. Today you're tackling Mt. St Helen -- go, girl, go!
