Closing up the house for our early morning flight! (This was Tuesday night) Was trying to get as many 4 patches done as I could- was hoping for half, which would be 160.
116 was all I could get completed. They actually go pretty fast but I had a long list on my to-do's today, being down stairs with Elsa was one! As she ages it gets harder to leave. She cries as we start down the driveway of the boarders. We couldn't ask for better people. It is an older couple and they are amazing. Once they were keeping Porter when he was old and they brought him indoors by the wood stove! We trust them so much. Still hard to leave her.
I'm ready to go when I get home!
I've mentioned an eagle quilt for the 250th anniversary of USA. This is my inspiration quilt.
I'm mulling over a plan. My eagles will be different and my flag blocks will be smaller. The eagle is from Electric Quilt- you can see it HERE, in another quilt I made.
This is the book the pattern is in. It is available on Jan's site HERE if you are interested.
Have a wonderful week!
I'm thinking of getting into my 1 1/2" strips bin and cutting 5 1/4" lengths to begin with. I have lots of strips! I cut one each of any new 1800's reprints for this bin.
