Fun on a Friday

Hello and happy Friday!
Monday we will be putting together the center of our Summit Stitches and I'll show the antique and let you decide if, and how you want to border it.



When I saw this amazing tilework in Portugal it reminded me of the "unknown" critter in my toile!

All of the following we saw at Monastery of Sao Vicente de Foro- Here is a virtual visit (very nicely done) HERE
I don't think we ever determined what it was- a mythical creature, I guess.

They were intricate and well done even if I don't understand why. 

Reminded me of a quilt sampler. 





So amazing!  It is worth a short online visit.
