Americana


I forgot to show you what I made over Memorial Day weekend. It was in an older Need'l Love book and was designed by Maggie Bonanomi.
I've been trying to figure out what to fill these types of decor with so this time I used polyfil then to give it some weight I added the walnut litter. I like the feel and weight of it a lot.

    I have been thinking of doing the very same combo of polyfil and the crushed walnut shells. I like "tight" stuffed things.

    Any hints on the ratio of polyfil to walnut litter? I also would like more weight in my stuffed things.

    I've tried the walnut shells and like it for the weight. Next time I use it, I'd like to use the stuffing on the top too.
