I finished piecing and removing the paper last night on 60 string blocks for Roll, Roll, Cotton Boll Mystery quilt!! I see part 4 is posted....whew! I just made it!
60!? 60!?!? LOL I'm not the only one conquering chaos! You have slain the dragon, dearie!! :-D AND you completed that fabulous applique block? And you help with the Alheimer's initiative and you are beautiful and take care of your beautiful family....You are my hero! :-D Blessings! Mary Lou (inspired to do more! LOL)
I'm printing out the directions..... that's as far as I've gotten. LOL! How lucky for you that you had a head start. Can't wait to see this mystery quilt.
I have only gotten as far as picking my fabrics for the mystery. Of course I tried to resist it until after the second clue. almost forgot to say...string blocks look good. Love your applique. Can't wait to see that one all finished.
That was quick! I didn't get any further then collecting all light blue shirts and scraps and started cutting into the shirts. But I confess, I got distracted by my spiderweb blocks (on my blog soon!)
Glad I'm not alone. I finished my RRCB blocks at 3:45 am this morning! I started Clue #3 late because I was out of town till Tuesday night and I didn't dare peek at Clue #4 till I finished my Clue #3 blocks. So glad they're done. I'm caught up now and have even gotten the #4's strips ready to piece.
Ooo, you've been BUSY!! I'm really bad about doing mysteries..I'm the kind who waits to see if I like it before diving in. LOL Can't wait to see the finished quilt!!
I'm glad I'm just watching your progress with the mystery quilt and not trying it myself. That's a lot of strips and a lot of blocks. It's a great feeling, keeping up.
