A blog reader, Judith Stoll, contacted me in early January about being a part of a small quilt show at
Campbell Pottery Store & Gallery. She was looking for more traditional quilts to enter alongside art quilts. Here was my submission.
The gallery is opening this Saturday, April 16th and runs through May 14th.. If you are close by it would be worth it to you to drop by and see the quilts. Please let me know if you do.

ReplyDeleteYeah to the winners, I tried applique with a glue stick on time. I had more glue on me, the table, the top of the fabric, yikes. I think I used 2 sticks for a one block wall hanging. I was glad to gift this one! ;-)

ReplyDeleteYour quilt is gorgeous! I love the cheddar! It just makes the quilt pop! And I noticed it's one of the quilts pictured too!! That's so cool. It DOES look like such a beautiful setting. Congratulations to you too! :-)

ReplyDeleteI find that the ones I got, got hard and didn't work after awhile, so I ended up using the kids glue stick and that worked better, lol.

I like to block you used and the use of cheddar. It always looks so good when you use it in a quilt.
