Winter Stitching

Look what came out of the dungeon!? It's my Jane Stickle quilt....it has only been a 10 or 11 year project! LOL  Will winter of 2011-2012 be the finale?! I sure hope so!!
Here's the cute red and green block turned into a little pillow. I had to replace the hst red and still managed to cut off the points. I love it anyway.
Here's Henny Penny one more time with my initials appliqued in the corner. I like it a lot better without the big blank spot.

  1. A Jane Stickle quilt is a big accomplishment no matter how long it takes! I've owned the book about as long as you have been working on it and I haven't made a single block. Your progress looks great to me!!

  3. Oh boy, how great is it to get all the way to the quilting part on the DJ? I started mine at least 10 years ago and have only a handful of blocks.

Now if I can take my own advice, lol. I got the magazine with the wool runner, how did you sew the pieces and did it get bulky?

  23. My DJane has been hiding in its box, not seeing the light of day for many months. And I'm nearly done with the center. I really should get it out and do a bit more.
    Nice projects, every one.

  24. My DJ project is still in clear sleeves of my DJ pattern notebook. I did make a couple this past spring, but nothing since then.
