This & That

So far this week I have no focus on anything!! I can't wait to show you my finished 50th signature birthday quilt!!! it's big and I need to take it outside for a photo op. It has been such an amazing year, thanks to many of you. I cannot believe my 50th year is coming to a close already.
I thought I'd show you this lovely version of Harmony made by Marie in France. It looks old, doesn't it? The fabric is dynamite!! I'm always happy to see the quilts you've made from my sewalongs.

I've decided that my house cannot hold many more quilts. My options? Stop quilting or sell a few. Feel free to spread the word and email me if you see a quilt you may like to purchase. The sizes are listed, but prices are not. I have an idea of what I'd like for each quilt but wanted to keep them negotiable, so didn't put in the price. Feel free to email me with questions.

The medallion quilt will finish about 42' square, which is nice because we can use one width of fabric for the backing.

Have a terrific week.

  1. A very good idea to sell some. I always wondered what I would do if I made everything I planned on making... oh who am I kidding! Lol. But it is a good idea to share the joy! You do such beautiful work!

  3. I was so surprised to see your 'land of the free' being offered for sale, and of course as soon as I looked at all of them, I clicked through and saw it was sold. Good for your. The BOM that is shown to the left of that quilt is one I made early on, you'll have to pry it out of my hands, as it's one of my all time favorites. Good luck with the sale, it's a great idea.

  4. Can a person have too many quilts? I recently donated a few to a charitable thrift store that I made a good while back and they no longer fit my taste. And I love to give quilts to friends. Helps keep the supply down. That said, I have a post planned that will show the supply is still very ample.
