Here are my next blocks. They are a variety of sizes so don't let that throw you.......
I'm letting Karen take the lead. Is it any wonder I have 10 blocks done already?! LOL
Go see her lovely blocks HERE. I like her color scheme, but I didn't want to purchase fabric and probably wouldn't have been able to find it local anyway. Mine will be a colorful mix.
Happy Wednesday!
The blocks work well in the reproduction fabrics you are using. At least one of the other quilters that plan on making the quilt is going to be using the same style fabrics. Wonder what the design would look like in all red & green like your two latest applique blocks.
ReplyDeleteLove these blocks! That basket is so unusual. Love the little bud.
ReplyDeleteDear Lori,
ReplyDeleteyour blocks are very pretty.
Greetings,
Sylvia
Great blocks Lori. Y’all are moving right along with this one.
ReplyDeleteTus bloques son muy bonitos!!!
ReplyDeletedistintos a los de Karen, que también me gustan muchísimo
esta bien utilizar las telas que tenemos en casa
al final veremos los distintos acabados y sera difícil decidir
saludos
It is fun to see what you both are doing and your color choices, nice mix of prim and lights.

Another beautiful group of blocks!! How do you accomplish so much so quickly? :)
ReplyDeleteHi Lori. I'm visiting from Karen's blog. Your blocks are lovely as are hers. It's fun to see them in different fabrics.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your day!
All beautiful blocks. I love your colorful mix :)
ReplyDelete"Colorful mix" is always good in my book! I have a hard time limiting my color palette--always wanting to pull in more colors. You've got some great fabric combos in your blocks and it is fun to see how different the same blocks can look from Karen to you.
ReplyDelete(I would struggle to keep up with Karen's pace--she is very productive.)
Oh this is coming so well, fun to see how yours and Karen are the same but "different" . Love that big basket--and the peony block looks hard for sure...hugs, Julierose
ReplyDeleteWow you're moving fast on this project! I love the peony block!
ReplyDeleteJust popped in on Karen and now here to see your civil war version. Looks great!
ReplyDeleteFast work! Love your mix of stash-found fabrics. Is this hand appliqueed?
