September arrived and our weather changed like "that'! I got my house decorated for fall since I'll be having a busy month.
This quilt is on my couch right now. I started it in a class with Gwen Marston. Love the gold and green border.
I actually found cute pillowcases in the thrift store so I purchased them to make little dresses. I got one made and the others will need to wait for the weekend. I plan on photographing a bunch more dresses that I received, so I hope you are enjoying seeing them all. Each one will make a little girl feel special, I just love looking at each one.
Here's my instagram feed this week.
We've got a fun night planned for tonight. Have a safe and wonderful weekend.
Our weather is turning to autumn too. It is a nice change. Happy weekend

ReplyDeleteLove your couch quilt. It looks so cozy and inviting. I'm enjoying seeing the pillowcase dresses too. Those pillowcases were a great find. They are so colorful and pretty. I'm still waiting for cooler weather. It will be late October before Florida gets some cooler weather. Gonna be in the 90s today. Enjoy your Fall days!

ReplyDeleteLove your string quilt!
ReplyDeleteI've been trying to make a pattern for that string quilt from an antique one that I have. Sadly, the one I have is so poorly constructed it's not just a matter of tracing the pieces! I do love it and I won't give up. Your colors are gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteThat quilt is one of my favorites, gorgeous for fall. Or any season! What a score on those pretty pillowcases. They'll make cute little dresses! Fall weather has arrived here as well, and it's sort of refreshing! Have a great weekend!
