I put the final stitches in the binding of the flannel quilt Monday night!! Whoop! Whoop!
Got it in the wash yesterday so it will be ready to do its duty at providing warmth right away! My niece saw it and said she'd like to be next in line for a flannel quilt! LOLI did a simple horizontal quilt stitch about 2" apart. (in my humble sort of way, of course) I had the purple piece and the other pieces were gifted to me by a blog reader. Thank you!!
I'm playing with a few little pieces of French fabric too.......
Love to you all on this beautiful day!
You should show your niece how to make a flannel quilt. Does she sew at all?

ReplyDeleteOOOOOH, Flannel, yum yum! And I love the blocks! And I highly approve of the diagonal quilting, my favorite short arm way to deal with a relatively big quilt! Happy Holidays! cheers!
