Amazing Antique Quilts

I was at the Quilt Expo for the quilt show and didn't get to show you these lovely antique quilts! They are probably all from the Latimer Quilt Museum














There is so much to love about these quilts!

  15. Interesting blanket stitch on the closeup of the applique border. It's the other way around from the usual way - with the "line" on the inside and the perpendicular stitches pointing out. Thanks for all the photos.

    Are those circles appliqued to make a balloon bouquet? Looks like strings embroidered to a point at the bottom.....Did you get any close-up shots of that quilt? Thanks for the mini show :0) Happy Sewing!
