A Blackbird Gathering

Looks what's on my design wall! I was so tempted to follow this little quiltalong Cheri Payne was doing but thought I better stay focused on my own projects. Well, a friend, Linda, said she wasn't feelin' the love and would I like to finish what she started.

 Uhhhh, of course!
And it isn't anywhere close to being humble!
Thank you Linda for sharing your project with me.
This quilt is on my bed and because I love it so much, I thought I'd share it again!
My instagram feed for this week.

On tap for this weekend is to clean my sewing room! I have 2 quilts that are being shipped back to me that I want to get ready to bind and finish, but my sewing room is a bit of a disaster!

Have a wonderful weekend, friends.

  4. Wow, what a special friend. It is beautiful. I have no right to comment on your sewing room status. If you can even see the top of your sewing table you are in better shape than I am. It is on my list for an upcoming weekend too!

  8. Now that is the kind of friend to have. I saved the patterns for some day as I did not have time to do the blocks. Even better to have part of the work done for you and looks done well.

Working on my disaster sewing room too, actually took everything off shelves cleaned and now trying to organize by color while refolding all of my fabric back onto shelves........then I ran out of gas so I have to get back to it this weekend. I have to start giving away some of this stuff because I have run out of room! My guild is gonna love me .. :0). Happy Sewing ( and cleaning :0(..)

  20. Boy, that's the way to make a quilt. Have someone else choose the fabrics and do the applique and just finish up. It looks fabulous. You are so lucky!
