Third row
And the three rows together. I still have a lot of flying geese to make and the top border of applique. Karen and I have been working on this for a few months now and she is keeping me going! See her quilt HERE,
I hope you are having a great week!
We are seeing the light at the end of the tunnel! It won't be long and we can move on to the next project.
ReplyDeleteYour bottom section came together well. I wonder what the difference in size will be between our two quilts. Trying to figure out block sizes and those make it fit strips sizes has been a bit of a challenge.
I like how
ReplyDeleteMade by me
LRD
Is a little rhyme!
It looks great! I love watching the progress for both of you on this one. Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteLori muy bonito este edredón.
ReplyDeletefuisteis muy rápido las dos!!
Wow, this has really come together! I love the lettering at the bottom. It looks like your name is "Ird" but I love Juliann's comment that it rhymes when you say it right! I love it!
ReplyDeleteIt is a "prim" work of art, Lori.
ReplyDeleteThe way each quilt looks personal and unique is a great thing! These are not cookie cutter quilts. Kudos to you both!
Lovely, interesting, and definitely unique! ---"Love"
ReplyDeleteI love these quilts! This primitive look has always been so much fun!
ReplyDeleteLori, it looks wonderful!
ReplyDeleteLove, love, love it. Wow. Amazing.
ReplyDeleteYour quilting spirit is always reflected in your work.
ReplyDeleteLooking great! I love the wheelbarrow fun of pumpkins :0)
ReplyDeleteAnother beautiful version, love your fabric choices.
ReplyDeleteDebbie
Both versions are inspiring. Looking forward to getting started . . . soon . . . wrapping up a few 2016 projects.
ReplyDeleteIt's so prim! I like very much how you sign it, very personal. The blocks with mother and child and friends are my favorite! Great job.
ReplyDeleteGreetings, Rina.
It's a jumble of fun--love it!!
ReplyDeleteWhat's charming quilt! This will be such a treasure. Nice work!
ReplyDeleteOh my...all these blocks ! Your quilt is wonderful Lori !!
ReplyDeleteWOW! Someday. I've got to put this on my someday list - and want to do it with at least one partner! Along with witnessing the friendly encouragement, I also love how we're all able to view the variety and interpretations between your two quilts as you progress!! They are both beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI admire that you've stuck with this quilt - it's be an ongoing project, huh? Definitely worth all the work now that the end is in sight - LOVE IT!
ReplyDeleteLori, this is looking amazing. I have to admit when I read made by me I thought you had an I not a L for the first initial and was a bit confused. I have several friends and family who go by a name other than their first one. But on second glance j realize all the initials are lower case.
ReplyDeleteWonderful. Adorable. Karen's too---you two are amazing.
ReplyDeleteThis is such a beautiful, busy, happy quilt, Lori. I love how there's so much to look at. I think the colors and fabrics you've chosen look wonderful together.
