American Memorial Day

Thank you to all who died while in service to our country. 
Memorial Day is typically the kick off to summer and my patriotic decorating. 





But ultimately I remember the sacrifice.

    I so love all your patriot themed quilts. I remember this day being called "Decoration Day" and we cut bunches of lilacs to place on the gravestones. It was a ritual for our family. Thank you for all you do.
