She made one more celebrating her husband's ancestors. In the center blocks she wrote some of their names. So unique and fun! Thanks for sharing Betsy!!
I made 2 more blocks at lunch today! If I was smart I'd do all the cutting first,
but I don't like working that way. For now I'll work on it a little at a time
Here's my Instagram feed for the past week. I'm ready to ring in the new year! What about you?
Have a safe and happy weekend- I'll be back Monday for the first installment of Sweet Land of Liberty designed by Cheri Payne.
Moving right along, looking great. Have a Happy New Year.
ReplyDeleteWe will be heading home on Jan 2 - I can't wait! It's fun to travel, but will be so good to get back home and get life back to normal. I won't be participating in your QAL, but, who knows? I may decide to make it later - like I did with the Flags of the Revolution quilt. Happy New year!
ReplyDeleteLove those quilts !!
ReplyDeleteHappy new year Lori !
Big hugs from France :)
Happy New Year! I can hardly wait to change the Calendar. Farewell to the year 2017. Good to use up scraps and cut as you need for each block. Less chance of losing parts.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year Lori! Jane's quilt looks so fun!
ReplyDeleteCheddar Cheese and Crackers was a SAL before I found your blog, I believe. I really like that one, and I did get the magazine so I could make it someday.
ReplyDeleteThe ancestor quilt is a fun idea.
So tempting to join in doing the Lincoln quilt, but I am resisting!
love those lincoln blocks! happy new year!
ReplyDeleteIf I had plaids, I'd make a small quilt out of the Lincoln blocks. The quilts shared are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteLovely quilts, and your Lincoln’s blocks are beautiful. I’m not sure if I want to join on making Sweet Land of Liberty, it is very hard to find the right fabrics. , maybe I’ll make a little quilt from the Lincoln’s block.
ReplyDeleteHappy new year, from Sicily,
God bless!
Rina.

Happy New Year Lori!
ReplyDeleteStill can't believe we're winding down the end of the year! Your plaid quilt is going to look so good. There's just something about working with that sort of fabric that just feels wonderful!
ReplyDeleteThough most of my Sweet Land of Liberty quilt is done, I look forward to seeing what the participants come up with for their quilts.
ReplyDeleteSweet quilts - Happy New Year Lori!
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year to you. I hope 2018 will give us a chance to get together again.
ReplyDeleteWonderful quilts and Happy New Year, Lori! Thanks for all you do!
