Thanksgiving Pattern Winners- Happy Friday!

The winner of Gracie Lu's Rail Fence is The Joyful Quilter! She was a commenter on my blog.

The winner of Goodnight Darlene from the Facebook comments is Pam Taylor.

Please send me your mailing addresses and I'll get the pattern in the mail. Thanks for playing along and Thank you Kevin for your generosity and talent!

Poor Elsa got into something yesterday and ripped up her feet. We had to make an emergency trip to the vet's office. One of her pads is tore up and on the other foot her dewclaw was torn. Unfortunately it was only me at home and I don't do well with blood and injuries!! We are hoping it will heal on its own. We are giving it until Monday, then we may have to take bigger measures to get it better. Doesn't she look pitiful??

If you have an extra $3000 laying around, this beauty from ebay can be yours! It is so unique, folksy, and spectacular all in one!!

Have a fantastic weekend!

  4. Poor Elsa and poor you since you have a hard time dealing with blood. Did this happen on a hike?

Love that quilt but certainly not the $$$! We could probably recreate it! I also noticed the 1/2 blocks on the right hand side. Possibly on the pillow?

  10. Poor Elsa, I am surprised the vet didn't bandage it. If needed, the self stick, stretchy athletic tape works well on dogs tho you have to keep it dry by wrapping in a baggy or saran wrap when she goes out. I've noticed some of the hiking rescues mention dogs cutting their paws on sharp rocks, was she out hiking? Or maybe ice?Or that bulldog next door?!
The Pineapple quilt is so wonderful. I ll buy a Lotto ticket!

  13. Congrats to your winners!
Poor Elsa--you were brave to handle it alone. I don't do well with blood and injuries, either, so I get it. I always do better when someone else is with me to provide support.
Hope she heals without more drastic measures.
That is a really beautiful, but funky quilt. :)
