I really have not had a chance to sew. I've been trying to get fresh air when I can, playing with the dogs, trying to stay positive. It can be hard.
Elsa in the back
Porter in the front.
Look at the amazing blue skies! That is supposed to last through the weekend.
Beautiful first day of spring!!
We will get through this!
Love you all.
not too sunny here but temps near 80 so very spring like...my doll quilt is in the works!
ReplyDeleteDogs, sunshine and fresh air -- blessings are ours in many ways. Thank you Lori!
ReplyDeletestitching on the doll quilt and soft rain all night which is good for our veggie garden - hope we have abundance this year - usually very few tomatoes for all the work...God has provided for us to be able to share! not only fabrics and talents but good home cooked food with neighbors..love from Texas
ReplyDeleteI love the sunny weather and getting outside you can feel all normal. Like you, not chance the quilt the last few days. Weekend plans to go to the grandkids got canceled as they are sick, so here's my chance.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the sunshine for me please. We are stuck with fog today. It's warm (well +4 is warm for Canadian anyway) but so humid it feels cold. Very depressing. Let's enjoy some bright sewing. Stay safe. ;^)
ReplyDeleteWish I could hike in that beautiful terrain! We have had rain and rain and rain, cloudy today. Soon the sun will come out and I can hike in the beautiful Arkansas terrain!
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful scenery to keep you company in your social distancing!!
ReplyDeleteI can't sew either, but I am going to try now. It's grey drizzle here, in the 40s so not ''cold'' but it seems cold.
ReplyDelete.
I love the friends made through quilting and have had much encouragement over the years. Yes! We will get through this. We flew back from a fabulous week in Hawaii last night. When we went a week ago there weren't any "rules." Things changed. Fortunately, they can't close the ocean! The Polynesian Cultural Center closed the day after we went there. My next door neighbor went to Colorado to ski and got to ski one day - then they closed it.
ReplyDeleteWent to the post office and the local JoAnn store today. At each place we were standing at least 6 feet apart from each other in the lines. At the post office they actually had marks on the floor in colored tape to show you how far apart you needed to be.
ReplyDeleteI am finally feeling the quilting mojo again and have a fun little quilt in the works with another heavily weighing on my mind.
Looks like you have beautiful weather for getting outside. We are still in winter but at least the sun is getting warmer.
ReplyDeleteYes, we will get through this. Living on the Gulf Coast, we are grateful that we can still get gas, we have electricity, we aren't standing in two feet of water in our house, we can still get food at the grocery store and we have water to drink!
ReplyDeletebeautiful photos! I've been going out walking everyday.

Thank you for sharing these pics. They bring more light into the day. I love the sky and mountains, and your very smart pup.
ReplyDeleteSo glad Elsa and Porter are coping well! LOL I think the dogs are the winners in this craziness, mine are loving having us all home all day!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous photos, go enjoy the sunshine!
Thanks Lori for another great post. Wishing you and your family all the best, stay healthy & safe! Yes we will get through this!
ReplyDeleteHappy Quilting Cathy
With your hiking skills I imagine that you are one healthy specimen. Love your views of the mountains.
ReplyDeleteWith such good company as Elsa and Porter and those stunning views I am sure you will. We have to live in a lower gear and keep our distance. Keep safe and healthy!
ReplyDeleteThey are closing all the beaches and trails around here because people are not practicing safe distance. Makes me nuts. I will be doing most of my walking in the neighborhood now. I did get my garden beds cleaned out.
