Here's a little peak....
50 Shades of Brown will be our fall quiltalong! It is based on a seal skin mat I saw in an antique store near Zion! It will be unique and I hope you'll sewalong!!
Now, the rest are photos of an amazing camping trip we went on this past week. Every other year we have a deJarnatt family camp/reunion so we stay connected. It was a lot of fun.
Friday Cory and I went on an 11 mile hike on a trail called Trail of 10 falls!!
They start looking all the same, so we opted to take a trail less traveled.
I'm completely enamored with the deep forest with multiple layers! I considered starting a new sewalong quilt called 50 shades of green!! LOL
Here is my nieces youngest boy. He said I could be his 3rd grandma. He has such a personality and under that hat??? Bright red hair!
Have a terrific week. I'm sure feeling refreshed.
Much love
Sure wish I remembered that hanging in Zion. I remember the shop though
ReplyDeleteSo much beauty on your hiking trail!
ReplyDeleteLove the pictures. The tree with evenly vertical branches and only moss for leaves looked so stalwart and content. Look forward to the SAL.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful forest and waterfalls. Brown seems to be the color of 2020...seal skin mat?
ReplyDeletelizzy
Lovely photos--so cool and refreshing looking--just what we need on this steamy Monday!!

Breathtaking! I look forward to the sew-a-long.
ReplyDeleteColor me intrigued, and I have lots of brown fabrics and scraps! And who wouldn't want to be that little charmer's third grandma!
ReplyDeleteOh I love brown! Can't wait for the SAL... although I would love to have more summer. :) What a gorgeous place to hike and relax. What an honor to be offered the third grandma position.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful waterfalls! I’ve often thought about making an all green quilt. We have so many months of winter here and I just crave green. I love all the greens in your forest pictures
ReplyDeleteBrown is my favorite color ! Hooray !!
ReplyDeleteThank you for the pictures ! They are beautiful !!
Beautiful pictures! I love waterfalls!

Precioso pitufin. Yo también puedo ser su abuela N°. ........
Buena semana
Looks like a fun SAL.
ReplyDeleteOur family has loved waterfall hikes, so this would be a hit. The only problem is our sons always tend to end up in them and it would be hard to get them to keep moving to hit all 10.
What an adorable little guy. Wonder if I could be a fourth grandma? :)
Looking forward to the SAL. I also love brown. Great outdoor photos. That waterfall is gorgeous.
ReplyDeletehola buenas tardes ...yo tambien quiero ser abuela de ese hermoso y encantador niño.
ReplyDeleteSo refreshing to see those waterfall pictures, and the green leafy forest! Thank you from very HOT NE Central Oregon!
ReplyDeleteSuch beautiful waterfalls and lush green forests :) Bet your reunion was fantastic. That little guy is just the cutest! Your seal skin inspired fall SAL looks/sounds really interesting!
ReplyDeleteA seal skin mat. Now that is a different source of inspiration.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos. Sounds like a wonderful getaway. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteCan I be the cute boy's 4th Grandmother. Looks like he would be a lot of fun!
ReplyDeleteSigh... I could easily have sat through photos of ALL of the waterfalls (and then some!) 50 Shades of Brown sounds interesting, but I could totally get on board for 50 Shades of Green, as well. :o))
ReplyDeleteI 🤎 brown! Just the excuse I need to buy a new fabric collection I saw. The waterfalls and all the hiking photos were so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteHmm! I was typing along and my comment just disappeared! I was about to ask you how big the resulting quilt from your SAL will be?
ReplyDeleteQue de belles balades vous nous faites faire, Merci !
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to the quiltalong.
ReplyDeleteLovely forest pictures.
I love the forest too, but we don't go camping any more. The QAL sounds interesting. Thanks for all the gorgeous pictures!
