The Final Swap Quilts! On The Slow Boat!

Back in June I posted this on the Humble Quilts facebook group inquiring on the last 3 quilts taking the "slow boat" on their journey to their swap partner. LOL
All was silent. On July 6 I posted this one. The little quilts must be on an even smaller and slower boat to their destination! LOL

And then TADA!
The first quilt arrived from Japan! Cynthia made this for Robin.
Then boom, the next quilt arrived! This was destined for Sicily, Italy to Rina from Mary Ellen.

Then bada bing! The 3rd and final quilt of the swap arrived from Sicily, Italy! Made by Rina for Wendy.

So wonderful they all eventually made it.

Who knew when we started this it would take months to wrap up the swap! This is one for the books!! LOL

Thank you all for your patience. Looks like they were all worth the wait!

All 70 swap quilts are up on the Linky Party. See it HERE

Much love

  14. So glad all little quilts have finally arrived. This virus does something to the mail delivery too... packages from the Netherlands take 2 to 3 months to arrive in the US. You should think they are taking the row boat to cross the ocean.....

  15. Everything being shipped to or from the US has been delayed. It was about three months before I got fabric that I ordered from Australia. An Etsy purchase that I did not pay careful attention to the fact the seller was in Australia. I did not mind the wait but my project had gone on without before the fabric arrived.
