Christmas Quilt Inspiration

I thought I'd share a few random photos of quilts that would be relatively easy to make for the holidays. (maybe not 2020 holiday)

I'm inspired by red and white quilts all over again!
Look at this simple little cutie. (circa PA 1900)

International Quilt Study Museum
Kansas Troubles (circa 1999) From on line block swap.

Simple, but effective setting for pinwheel blocks.
1846 DAC Made by Amanda Carr. DAR Museum & the Quilt Index.
Triple Irish Chain (circa 2011)

Jo Kramer and her daughter made and designed this. It's darling! Free pattern HERE
So much inspiration in 2011 at the Infinite Variety Quilt Show in NYC. This was my first big trip with my daughter.

I hope you are inspired!
Merry Christmas friends!

  15. It's hard to believe it will be 10 years this March. I've been thinking of many red/white quilts after quilting Merry's Irish Chain. I love the simplicity of these, especially that simple star piece.

  22. So many beautiful quilts! I need to finish my red and white 9 patch made of 3" finished squares with white alternate blocks. I just need to finish deciding on the borders. Hopefully next year I will be feeling more like sewing.
