Anniversary Quilt Update

I've had a hard time focusing this past week. Just to focus on one thing has been hard!
I had an online guild meeting Monday and I'm prepping for an applique class, so bouncing from one thing to the next.

I finally made it into my sewing room for a little bit this week,

I added this rooster to the border I had completed, but had a big empty space that needed something. I think it turned out cute.

And got started on the next border, pig, basket, flower complete!

I challenged my friend to a minimum of 20 minutes of activity every day the month of January. I squeaked out a chilly walk at Smith Rock. This is a popular rock climbing area but I have to admit I've never seen anyone on this set of rocks! Look way in the center at the top!! That is a person!

I hope you are having a terrific week!
Much love and peace...

  1. that unfocused, bouncing around thing has been happening here too
I actually lowered my daily step goal to 8000 a day and then found I am still getting more thanks to my personal commitment to walking every day for at least 20 minutes
let’s be gentle with ourselves and your quilt is lovely

  3. I know that feeling. With everything going on my mood is swinging to from one end to the other. Sometimes I fight it but somedays I just hang in there till it passes.
Lovely border you are working on, you are so talented.
Impressive how someone dares to climb that rock!

  4. Yesterday I got outside to do a little winter cleanup in the garden—just one area. The sun was out and it felt so good.
