I'm going to start with a video on machine applique. I have several quilts I've hand appliqued, but most of mine now are done by machine. I just do not have enough time to do as much hand work as I'd like.

ReplyDeleteYour applique always looks great to me. I doubt that I would applique, even with this method. It is all the prep work that keeps me from being drawn to it, I believe.

ReplyDeleteMystery solved. Have always been drawn to your work and amazed by how much you accomplish! Wanted to try similar patterns, but wasn't sure I had enough time to dedicate to hand sewing (despite how much I enjoy it). As a "quilt washer" was also concerned about the durability of raw edge applique . . . Looking forward to the class and giving it a try.
