Land That I Love Part 1

We will start by making some half square triangles.

Using your favorite method make 24 half square triangles that will finish at 1 1/2"

If you make them a tad oversized, then trim, you will be trimming them to 2".

I want my quilt like the antique and the blocks are very scrappy. I opted to make mine one at a time so they would all be different. You can use light/dark or light/mediums or dark/mediums or a little of all!

Funny, I was just looking at my finished quilt and notice an unintended design element! (A humble error!) Haha no surprise here.

  2. Hey, did you get snow flurries at your house? Heard on the news that Bend got some. Glad you got in that camping trip. I know its early for snow and cold but you never know.

  4. Interesting to see you still sew with a lot of Jo (Morton) fabric...... I have a whole closet of just Jo.

  5. So am I reading correctly that they are 2" unfinished? Sorry to be slow here, but sometimes people use the words unfinished and finished differently, and I want to make sure I understand correctly. :)
