50 Shades of Brown

Jo Morton finished last years quiltalong, 50 Shades of Brown, and shared a photo. Soooo darling!

I love seeing your quiltalongs even if it is later than when we did it online.

And here's a bit of brown in  my neighborhood this week,

Mr buck chilling in our front lot.

And maybe Mrs Buck chilling nearby Mr.

Here's a bit of pink with some brown. This guy is sooooo stinky, but so cute! He runs to the fence to visit when we are taking our walk.

We have an employee out on vacation so I'm working for him on Saturday.
But I am hoping to have a new little quilt to share with you for Christmas!

Have a terrific weekend!

  2. Such a sweet little quilt. I used to use SO much brown in my quilts but kind of burnt myself out. Still love to see it though!

  5. Very cool that Jo chose to join in! No surprise that she did a great job.
And I think we see more than 50 shades of brown in the other photos. :)

  7. I love your high desert soft silvery taupes and browns. And the deer amaze me, so beautiful. As exotic to me as if you had a giraffe in the yard [we have no deers here.] I am guessing Stinky is a goat? I've been told they're sociable critters, I love seeing the little ones at the garden farm we go to. They don't smell bad tho...lol.

    have great week.
