A Basket Case


I've got some more houses cut and managed one more little one to add to my collection.

I had some French General strips and decided to use it as a border for the string basket. I'm planning on adding to it just not quite sure what. I'm on the road teaching string quilting so maybe I'll get more inspiration for this basket.  Any ideas or suggestions are welcome!

    Love the FG stringy basket. Are you contemplating a Gwen type medallion? Feathered aka half square triangles free form or a petal/leaf scallop...oh choices! Whatever you do, enjoy the process.

    The first thing that came to my mind for the basket was some holly and berries spilling from it. Of course, that would make it Christmasy, and you may not want that.
